5 Games That Got Banned after They Released
Here are some of the games that got banned in several countries, There are so many games that are now banned but in this article, i will only show you 5 banned games.
1. Pokemon series Banned in Saudi Arabia
Unfortunately, even the cute and lovable world of Pokemon is not immune to the gaming ban hammer. In 2001, all products of the Pokemon franchise in Saudi Arabia were banned from promoting gambling, Zionism and other religious intolerance. It is claimed that the game is characterized by crosses, triangles and "Star of David" and because they are card-based games, they are referred to gambling. In fact, in 1999, two nine-year-old boys sued Nintendo because they claimed the Pokemon trading card game was gambling in their casino!
2. Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 and Medal of Honor Banned in Pakistan
In January 2013, the govt. of Pakistan banned Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 and Medal of Honor. One of the warfighters said that they showed the country in a very bad light. Since these two military shooters basically equate Pakistan with terrorism.
3. Dead Rising 3 Banned in Germany for having human-like enemies
Germany wins a blue ribbon for the game ban. Although turning a human into a zombie might get the game of master passing in the likes of Britain or France, it would not be his fate in Dusseld. Given that Dead Rising is about zombies, it's no surprise that the series has seen repeated ban in Germany. Dead Rising 3 is the latest victim to be excluded from the Xbox One launch lineup in this country.
This beautiful god-fearing zombie thrasher is considered to be tolerable in many places, as your real target is the fictitious forces of the Undead monsters. However, Germany's Bundeprfstelle fr jugendgefhrende Medien (gaming police) places heavy restrictions on games where you kill any human or "human-like" enemy, so zombies become eligible. Again, Gears of War 3 was considered acceptable without modification, so I can't pretend to understand this logic.
4. Battlefield 3 Banned in Iran for encouraging International Terror
In November 2011, the sale of battlefield 3 changed into banned in Iran. all this become way to the scene in which us troops besieged Tehran and the grand bazaar. the declaration became followed with the aid of raids on recreation shops to seize all current copies, at the same time as a petition containing 5,000 Iranian signatures alleged that the game fueled Iran's fears inside the global network. Since the united states and Iran are well-known anyway.
5. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Banned in Austrailia and USA
The Grand Theft Auto Series has never been a stranger to controversy. Even in the early games when the player wandered the Google Maps approach, the main themes were robbery, violence, and drugs. However, this is the later Sandbox episode of San Andreas that caused the most uproar in the series. The mini game in this game is known as Hot Coffee. The mini-game depicts sexual intercourse between two characters in a game. Once it became public knowledge, the IRSB was forced to reschedule the game and pull it off the shelves at about 85 PC stores. A later modified version of the game was released with a patch of "cold coffee" in which players were denied access to the mini game.
